Research Interests

Committed to interdisciplinary research on language variation and change within specific socio-economic and political contexts. Interested in examining the causes of reproductions of racial formations, gender inequality, and traditional class divisions within language use and discourse, particularly in Mexico and the United States. Motivated to developing connections between research and community outreach initiatives.
