The Department of Romance Languages strongly encourages students to participate in one of the several Study Abroad programs that the UO offers through the Office of International Affairs. We believe that there is no better way to learn a language and its culture than the experience of being immersed in it.
The University of Oregon, through different institutions (AHA, IUSI, CIEE, SIT), offers programs for the study of French, Italian and Spanish languages and cultures in several countries of Europe and Latin America, such as Argentina, Bolivia, Ecuador, France, Italy, Mexico, Peru, and Spain.
