B.A., University of Oregon, 1991.  M.A., University of Oregon, 1994.

Research and teaching interests:  Latin American literature, indigenous movements, the Maya, Mexico, Guatemala, writing, creative writing, Chicano literature and poetry.

Courses taught: 

Span 311 Advanced Writing, 305 Cambios sociales, 303 Expresiones artísticas, 301 Identidades hispanas.

1st and 2nd year Spanish sequence.
